Job Description

We are in search of a highly motivated Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating innovative Android applications that provide exceptional user experiences and push the boundaries of mobile technology.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5 years of experience in Android development using Java and/or Kotlin.

Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and fix bugs, as well as improve application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
Qualification
  • Familiarity with Android Architecture Components such as LiveData, ViewModel, and Room.
  • Knowledge of modern Android development practices and libraries.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Skill & Experience
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with database management using SQLite or Room.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques.
